Fashion's Most Awkward Enthusiast...

Tee shirt, tee shirt where arth thou? Apparently at H&M and Top Shop. After writing my post about wanting a white tee with a tail of sorts I went out and found them. *Side note: all the tees are actually girl’s shirts. I don’t think you can tell when I wear it though. anyways YOLO!*

Okay, so I knew where to look because I actually have been debating about getting the ones I found today for a week now. Yeah, I really think about what I need and truly want before buying on impulse. I used to do that a lot when I was little which, is obviously a bad decision. I went nuts around last november and bought a sweater at D & G because they had a sale. Now, I am hating myself because I don’t even wear it and the money I spent on that could be going to a new leather vest (which I wont be getting any time soon hash tag broke boy problems/ jobless).

Onward with today’s purchases!

This little number is from H & M for $9.95 which I have to say is a pretty good deal since I don’t think I will ever stop wearing it.

HI TAIL. HI. HI. HI. HI!!

Next we have a white tank from Top Shop retailing for $18.

I must say, you can’t go wrong with a mullet-esque shirt. I MEAN LOOK AT MY FACE! DON’T I LOOK LIKE A HAPPY YOUNG LAD WITH MY MULLET STYLE TEES. I got to say, these were good buys.

Mission Accomplished

Even though, personally, I wear shades of white, gray and black on the daily with limited prints, I want to be wild like all the other cool cats on the runway too! It is just so easy to be stuck in the spectrum of monochromatic colors that, simply all go together. I am drawn to this fairly new concept to me, layering prints on prints and textures on textures. From what I saw on the runway and in the stores, layering is coming in to our lives in new forms. I think prints, textures and significantly bright colors are going to be creeping into my personal wardrobe and yes, I am a little uneasy about how I would approach it all.

Lets be real, this idea can too much, borderline crazy cat lady that has been consumed by her outfit but it can be done. Raise your hands if you want to try this but it is too unusually for you and you aren’t really ready for this.

I hope I am not the only one raising my hand up in the air!

So, I made a set of looks that may help members of the XY community experiment in the way they dress (sorry boys, I will dress myself tomorrow with this concept in mind and take photos). Hopefully you ladies will be able to draw inspiration from what I thought up.

What do you think? Now go off and venture off into print/ texture city.
